Millennials on the Move: Project We Care, Inc

By  |  0 Comments

Lazy, selfish, and narcissistic. These are just a few words we often hear when someone refers to¬†the term “millennial”. The first time I heard that, it took me by surprise because the millennials that I know are out in the community or sitting in classes getting a higher education. The millennials I know, are¬†entrepreneurs and talented artists. The millennials I know, are those like Rosalyn Hedgepeth and Josh Swinney who knew they were created to do¬†much more than just exist, and decided to create a non-profit organization to give back the best way they knew how.

Whether it is the youth, our veterans, the homeless, or ordinary families in need during the holidays, project we care is always there to help. This weekend we were able to catch up with them in Atlanta just in times for Valentine’s Day as they hosted The F.L.Y Event.¬†This event¬†targets young ladies between the ages of 13-18 to encourage and empower them to follow their dreams and walk with confidence. Mentors were set up with the young ladies for the day where they received¬†lessons on etiquette, women’s health, goal setting, self- awareness, and a 5 star meal. Check out the recap video and follow @ProjectWeCare for updates and future events.
